Upset that I have to face those beautiful, but now empty, memories of My Sylvia, I slam my hand on my desk and our "ARP 2600" synthesizer activates after years of not being used. It sends out a random, shrieking blast of sounds, which reflect the chaos within me.
With our home now filled with these stress-inducing sounds, Sylvia explains that she's always with me and that I need to look "out there, within me", in order to find her.
Our connection through the "Veil" isn't completely established yet. I know this because some of her words enter this "Reality" backwards.
lyrics
Refractionary Landscape
We can do this. We will remain linked to each other across the Veil.
Remember, “All things ARE possible, IN-finity”.
Me: I don’t know. I just don’t know!
Sylvia: smeeS tI tahW sI gnihtoN (Nothing is what it seems)
maebratS eht stcelfer rorrim ehT (The mirror reflects the Starbeam)
(We are linked across the Veil)
(Our Love will never fail)
Me: Everything is so surreal. My world is now fractured. Everywhere I look… the landscape is refractionary.
“Nothing is what it seems”
I am holding you.
I will always be with you.
I will guide you.
You and I make “US”.
We are “One”.
We are “timeless”.
Our Love… can find a way
to cross the boundaries
that stand in our way.
Our Light… can guide us through
along the Mobius
you know I’ll guide you.
We found each other once
AGAINST ALL ODDS!
Our Love is linked across the Veil
ACROSS THE ENDLESS STARS!
Our Love, my Love
will find a way.
I’m here with you always.
Don’t focus on the echoes.
LOOK DEEP INTO THE AETHER!
That’s where our Love grows.
Our Life… together as one
linked across the Veil
we’ve only just begun!
smeeS tI tahW sI gnihtoN (Nothing is what it seems)
maebratS eht stcelfer rorrim ehT (The mirror reflects the Starbeam)
(We are linked across the Veil)
(Our Love will never fail)
